Mural Inquiry
Thank you for being interested to trust me with your ideas!
Below are estimated costs and things to note before inquiring for a mural.
Pricing
Pricing starts at $35 per sq foot
(square feet is determined by multiplying height x width of the wall/painting surface)
Example.
10 feet x 10 feet = 100 sq feet
100 square feet x $35 = $3500
**This estimate does not include travel costs or material costs.
for example, an added paint costs vary between $200- $500
If the wall needs to be prepared or is in bad condition
(has dirt/mold buildup, needs patch work, ect.) that will add to the timeline and may or may not add more to the total cost.
Payment Process
A non refundable design fee is required to move forward with the sketch phase. Design fee is dependent on mural size and complexity.
This fee ensures your commitment to the design, and payment for my time even if you decide not to use my services. This cost will be deducted from the total mural price.
The fee includes up to 3 sketch changes. After 3 changes, an additional $100 is due for each sketch change. So please be as specific as you can about what you want.
50% of the total mural cost is required at least 1 week prior to the scheduled start date. This allows me to block out a week or more days on my calendar (thus not accepting other projects for those days) and to purchase the necessary materials prior to the painting. Final payment or remaining balance is due the day of mural completion. If this does not work for you, we can work out a payment plan per your request.
Timeline
The timeline of the mural includes many factors, which includes wall preparations (if needed), location, complexity of design, wall size, and availability (for client, and myself).
